* As a participating company, we agree with the Participation Conditions and undertake to perform the services defined therein. We assure that no third party rights are or will be violated by our participation in the Innovation Award 2027 or by any related publication and presentation. Insofar, we shall exempt the organiser from any claims submitted by third parties. The information specified here is correct and complete. We agree to information about the products we have submitted being published, together with the company name, after the competition has been judged and the awards presented.

Data protection information for registration and participation in the R+T Innovation Award 2027

Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG (Messe Stuttgart) will process your personal data (participant data: company, form of address, title, first name, surname, address, telephone no., e-mail address, possibly data from text, image, film/sound recordings submitted for the competition) on the legal basis of Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the organisation and running of the competition. You have no obligation, either legal or contractual, to make your data available. However, participation in the competition will not be possible if the required data are not made available.

Your personal data (participant data: company, form of address, title, first name, surname, address, telephone no., e-mail address, possibly data from text, image, film/sound recordings submitted for the competition) will be transmitted to a jury of experts (https://www.messe-stuttgart.de/r-t/en/the-r-t-jury-2027/) for the purpose of the organisation and running of the competition. Again here, the legal basis is Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR. The members of the jury are themselves responsible for data processing by the jury. There will be no automated decision-making, including profiling.

When setting up the user profiles and access data needed to operate the "R+T Innovation Award 2027" website, Messe Stuttgart will be supported by ETES GmbH, Talstraße 106, 70188 Stuttgart, Germany (https://www.etes.de) a processing service provider, which shall have the obligation to handle personal data with the same degree of care pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR.

Following the awards, we may wish to publish information about the winning product, including the submitted text, image, film and sound data in the promotional material of Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG, i.e. on our website and our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn). The legal basis for this is the consent of the persons depicted pursuant to Article 6 (1a) of the GDPR. Such consent may be revoked at any time with future effect. In the event of revocation, we shall delete all such information from our social media channels. Publication will give the companies Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and LinkedIn access to your data. We have no influence on the recipients to whom these companies forward your data. The social media providers themselves are responsible for data protection. Data recipients may also be located in third countries which may have lower data protection standards than those in the EU and in which data subjects have no rights or are unable to exercise their rights.
